PROOF-TRACK
// independent, verifiable proof an email was sent
Proof-Track anchors a SHA-256 fingerprint of an outbound email to a public blockchain, so a court, counterparty or auditor can check what was sent and when without trusting the sender or the service. You CC or BCC one address; the message is hashed, the hash is written on-chain, and anyone holding the original can re-hash it and match the record. Only the hash is public. Closed access, by invite.
- > CC or BCC one address — no new mail client, no plugin
- > Headers, body and attachments hashed; the content never goes on-chain
- > Receipts any third party can verify, no account needed

> what it does
Proof-Track gives you a send record for email that does not depend on your own logs. Add one Proof-Track address to the messages that matter. Proof-Track reduces the message (headers, body and attachments) to a SHA-256 fingerprint and writes that fingerprint to a public blockchain. The chain’s timestamp becomes a tamper-evident record that this exact message existed at that moment.
Verification needs no account: a third party re-hashes the original email and matches it on-chain. Only the hash is public; the content stays private unless you choose to disclose it.
